Wildlife of Mount Glorious Queensland

Mount Glorious in South East Queensland is a simply amazing place. This has a lot to do with the altitude, surrounding National parks as well as the unusual climatic environment with a higher rainfall than you might expect. It is almost as if you have taken a wrong turn and ended up at the Daintree! You really have to come up to the mountain to believe it!

There are so many interesting birds, some unique lizards, butterflies and moths as well as the smaller member of the macropods species the pademelon; a creature that is somewhere between the size of a large bandicoot and a very small rock wallaby!

This region really is special, the longer you stay the more creatures seem to make themselves visable. You never quite know just which creature youmay find around the next corner!
